HEY! I'M ALAFIYA!

I'M A GAME DESIGNER AND ARTIST FROM PUNE, INDIA. I'VE GOT A BACKGROUND IN GRAPHIC DESIGN AND A KNACK FOR TELLING STORIES!

An interactive, meticulously drawn, story about two young girls of the mangrove, worlds and ages apart. 

Based on the folklore of the Sundarbans, Assam, and Nagaland. Written and illustrated by me.

A relaxed puzzle game where you stack blocks one on top of the other in a journey towards pure Balance.

A simple experience made to slowly guide and shape your skills over time. Learn the ropes and overcome distances and obstacles to, finally, build the tallest structure you can.

Laws of Chance:

A surreal card/board game about the exploitation of artists and the taking up of space and, therefore, agency.

Pheko:

A round-based card game to learn waste management and challenge your memory and speed. This is a Work in Progress!

A concept and rough prototype for an experience meant to dive deep into the idea of institutionalization and the stripping away of freedom.

Meant as live experience, Power Play lets you explore and understand a strange new world that gradually closes its fists around your neck.
